Claudine Leverett, 86, of Turlock passed away at Elness Convalescent Hospital on Jan. 4. She was born in Bellville, Ariz. to Thomas and Susan Cashion in 1924. She lived in Arizona and moved to Manteca in the early 1950s. In the early 90s, she moved to Modesto and three years ago moved to Turlock. She was a member of the Assembly of God churches and traveled helping the evangelists. She enjoyed family, gardening, walking and traveling the world.

Claudine is survived by her daughters, Violet Ellis of Modesto, and Sue Blake and Pam Rohn, both of Turlock; five siblings; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Blair.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Allen Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, also at Allen Mortuary.
