Donald Eugene Castelli, 65, of Turlock passed away on Jan. 15 in Modesto.

He was born on Sept. 3, 1945, in Los Angeles and was a shipping clerk for 44 years. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and his job as a shipping clerk for Evergreen Packing of Turlock.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony “Tony” E. Castelli and his wife, Andrea, John R. Castelli and Matthew J. Castelli, all of Turlock; sisters, Linda Ruth of Anaheim and Marianne Murphy of Pahrump, Nev.; and grandchildren, Amanda Lugo of Livingston, Alyssa Castelli of Modesto, Ethan Castelli of Queens Creek, Ariz., Giovanni Castelli of Turlock, Velicity Castelli of Atwater, Dane Castelli of Queens Creek, Ariz. and Tristano Castelli of Turlock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Ethel Castelli.

A funeral with Military Honors was held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine.
