Donald Bradley, 87, was born to Joy and Willa (Hall) Bradley in Upland, CA.  He passed away Wednesday in Turlock.

Don graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA, in 1947 and later became a truck driver for Sunkist Oranges in Alta Loma.  He worked as a cattle ranch manager for S & A Ranch in Denair for 31 years until his retirement.

He loved fishing and camping.  Favorite places were Lake McSwain, Seacliff Beach, Pinecrest Lake, and Lake Tahoe.  In retirement he and Betty spent most of their time enjoying their camp trailer.  They were at Seacliff Beach often and enjoyed meeting many friends there.

Don was also creative; he could make and repair anything.  He loved making puzzles and watching kids, always trying to figure them out.  At one time he was also a chef and loved to cook and create new meals.  He enjoyed being Santa Claus for the Denair Fire Dept.

He’s survived by daughters Susan Quigley-Pettigrew, Carol (Gerald) Wenstrand, and Donna (Jim) Beserra; grandchildren Greg Quigley, Leisa (Larry) Collins, Craig Dooley, Jeff Quigley, Matt (Carol) Wenstrand, and Kristi (Mike) Hughes; and great-grandchildren Brooke and Brandon Quigley, Tanner and Carter Collins, Jake, Ava, and Reagan Hughes, and Ian and Mark Wenstrand.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty, in 2005 and son-in-law Jerry Pettigrew in 2016.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wed., June 29, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd.  A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thurs., June 30, at the same location.  Private interment will take place at Turlock Memorial Park.
