Edgar “Eddie” Robinson, 75, of the Central Valley, died Jan. 21 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. He was born in Oakland and lived in Southern California until he moved to Northern California in 1978. Eddie settled in Modesto in 1985 and lived just a few days in Turlock before he passed away. He was a carpenter for 35 years.

He is survived by his six children, Jeff Robinson, Lora Robinson, Robin Robinson, Lance Robinson, Liz Gessele and Scott Robinson; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Diane Guill or Orlando, Fla., Carol Looker of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Rosemary Heist of Placerville.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31 at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville.
