Edna Mary Daigh, aka Edna Patterson, passed away on July 3. Edna was born on July 16, 1925 in Scarsdale, NY to Thomas and Elsie Dennis. She was raised in Tarrytown, NY. In 1956, she moved to Tucson, Ariz. She worked for the Ashton Construction Company and many years at the Arizona Highway Department. In 1973 she moved to San Jose and worked at Lockheed in Sunnyvale for 15 years. Edna married Lawrence Daigh in 1978. In 1995 they decided to retire in Chino Valley, Ariz. Edna became a long-time volunteer at Yavapi Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. and also volunteered with the Prescott Art Docents. In 2009, Edna and Larry relocated back to California to be closer to family. Edna was known to all as an avid baseball fan. Her favorite team was the San Francisco Giants, beginning when they were the New York Giants, and she could tell you anything that you ever wanted to know about the team. The Giants never had a more dedicated fan.       
Edna is survived by her husband, Larry Daigh of Hughson; children, Susan Hellston of Sunsites, Ariz., Robin Patterson of Groveland, Richard Patterson of San Jose and Sally Patterson of San Jose; step-children, Eric Daigh and Steven Daigh of Hailey, Idaho, Kurt Daigh of Twin Falls, Idaho and Kristen Lennen of Groveland; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.  
 A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 16 at Samaritan Village in Hughson. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Please share your memories at  HYPERLINK  ""
