Eileen Marie Nolte “Entered into Rest” on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Emanuel Medical Center with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Newark, CA, a resident of Delhi for 23 years. Eileen was employed with Wells Fargo Bank for over 20 years and currently was a school crossing guard protecting the students at Brown Elementary School for 15 years. She was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Portuguese Fraternal Society of America (P.F.S.A.) Fraternal Co. #8 of Newark and she served as a Past Supreme for two administrations from S.E.S. Co. #8 Newark in 1994 – 1995 and 2008 – 2009. Eileen was also a member of the following P.F.S.A. Councils, #5 of Hayward, Co. #11 of Turlock and was currently serving as Council Secretary, #13 of Tracy, #14 of Mountain View, #35 of Half Moon Bay, #98 of Ferndale, #108 of Madera and #140 of Cayucos. She enjoyed Fraternal Organizations and was very active in the Portuguese Immigrant Week for over 25 years and was a Merced County Volunteer Sheriff for many years. Eileen enjoyed visiting and spending time with her friends and extended “family” at the Almond Tree Restaurant in Turlock also trying her luck at lottery games and almost all the Indian Casinos in California hoping to win the big one. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Survivors include – Debbie Parrott and her husband Windell Parrott of Delhi, Bob Nolte, Jr. and his wife Cheri Nolte of Tracy, CA. Tammy Almaraz of Hilmar, CA and Kim Fernandes and her husband Tony Fernandes of Delhi, CA. Sister- Gloria Pierce of Phoenix, Az. 12- Grandchildren- Brandon Parrott, Kristal Grimes, Tim Grimes, Christopher Nolte, Tyler Nolte, AJ Almaraz, Danielle Almaraz, Ashley Santos, Derick Santos, Jonathan Fernandes, Justin Fernandes, Jessyka Fernandes. 3-Great-Grandchildren- Xavier Parrott, Tessa Grimes and Brianna Santos and many Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Bob Nolte of 54 years, Father, John Pierce and Mother, Mary Pierce, Brother, Clarence Pierce and Sister, Marie Freitas
Services are scheduled for: Visitation – Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, and CA. Rosary – Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 7:00 PM, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, CA.
Funeral Mass – Wednesday, 14, 2012 at 10AM, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, CA. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA
