A true romantic love story, Elmer and Christine were married June 23, 1986 in the Cupids Chapel of Love in Reno, Nevada. They met while at a retail store in Atascadero, CA. They moved around some but returned to Elmer’s home town of Turlock, CA. They loved camping at the lakes, raising their pets, and having family gatherings. After the passing of Christine, the heartbreak was too great and Elmer joined her in heaven.
Elmer Louis Renner, born in beautiful Turlock, CA, grew up duck hunting, camping, and fishing. Elmer graduated Turlock High School in 1959 then joined the National Guard. After serving his country, he worked as firefighter, laborer, store manager, and bartender. Elmer spent much of his retirement playing with his grandchildren, watching his 49ers play, and fishing.
Christine Anne (Myers) Renner was born in Ontario, CA where she lived for a short time before moving and graduating from Atascadero High School. After the birth of her first child Christine dedicated her life to raising her children. Christine worked as a waitress for some time with Lyons and made many friends. Christine spent her retirement enjoying her grandkids, collecting Winnie the Pooh, and visiting her family.
Elmer is preceded in passing by his parents, Elmer Christopher Renner and Pauline Marie Keup of Nebraska. Delphi White oldest sister, Donald Renner oldest brother, Ralph Renner brother, Hope Renner who died shortly after birth, and his beautiful daughter Cindy Pombo.
Elmer is survived by his brother oldest sister’s children Betty Brown, Joyce Adams, and Nancy Justus. Oldest brother’s children Chris Renner, Ralph Renner, Diane Riner, Mary Martindale, and Denise Stroer. Sisters Devona Renner (Bob) Pace, her children Debbie Reynolds Krumpelman, Janice Reynolds. Sister Elinor Edwards (Bill) her children Michael Edwards and Chere Edwards McCain. Brother Richard Renner his children Suzanna Renner Burger, Jennifer Renner Alverez, and Richard Renner. His son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Lisa Renner their children Brandon and Justin and Kailee Renner. Son-in-law Rodney Pombo and children, Joshua Halvorson, Julie, Blake and Morgan Pombo.
Christine is preceded by her parents, Lloyd Rene Myers of California and Lydia Alice Demars of Louisiana.
Christine is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Harry and Debbie Myers, their children Holly and Harry Myers Jr. Her brother and sister-in-law Louie and Karletta Myers, their children Louie and Nathaniel Myers and Lydia Sweeney. Her son Eric Alan Wilson and his children from Mona Chavez: Maggie, Chrissy, and Eric Jr. Chavez and his children from Cheryl Carreiro; DJ, Robbie and Kylah. Her son and daughter-in-law Anthony (Andy) Earl Wilson Jr. and Carrie Wilson (Clover), their children Shandae, Angelica, and Victoria Wilson, children of Tonya Wilson (Moore) Audrey Moore, Timothy and Tiffany Wilson, children of Mikki Andress and their children Brandon and Andrew Andress (Wilson). Her daughter and daughter-in-law Jeanne (Jean) and Esther Wilson.
