Frances “Fran” Coleman, 85, of Turlock, passed away at Brandel Manor on Wednesday. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Herman and Isabel Wright in 1925. In 1948, she graduated from Vancouver General Hospital with a Registered Nurse degree, and in 1951, she married Edwin Coleman in Seattle, Wash. They moved to Davis in 1953 and raised their two daughters. They loved to spend time at their cabin at Lake Tahoe. At Lake Tahoe, she enjoyed cross country skiing, boating and taking walks in the mountains. She also enjoyed swimming, visiting the coast, RVing, and being a 4-H leader in sewing. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her six grandchildren and raising collies. Fran is survived by her loving husband Edwin Coleman; daughters Patricia Coleman Webb of Turlock and Liz Coleman Wardell of Big Piney, Wyom; brother Howard Wright of Canada and six grandchildren.Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary.
