Goldie Mae Goldsmith-Allen, 73, of Turlock, died April 17 in Turlock. She was born in 1938 in Borger, Texas.
She was a supervisor at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds for five years, a certified nurse’s aide at a skilled nursing facility in Stockton for five years, and for the most part of her life, she was a homemaker. She really enjoyed dancing and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Allen of Sacramento; daughters, RuthAnn Wiltse of Turlock and Tamarah Wiltse of Belgrade, Mont.; sisters, Wanda Cardoza of Modesto and Beverly Bennett of Ceres; four grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Wiltse in 1990; and sisters, Patricia Phipps and Claradell Goldsmith.
