Born to Marlo and Martin Olson. He passed away on March 25 in Martinez CA. Harvey was a member of the V.F.W. Post 95059 in Turlock. He also served in the Korean War. He was a graduate of the University of Washington and had a B.S. in Forestry.
He was raised in Bremerton, Washington. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Harvey is survived by his loving daughters Kristen Ferraro (Al) of Latrobe, Penn. Yvonne (Steve) Olson of Grants Pass, Oregon, Lynette Ewaldt of Phoenix, Oregon, Terriee (Marvin) Beck of Gustine, CA. Numerous nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Olson, his parents Marlo and Martin Olson, his brother Eugene Olson, and one daughter Lorelei Whitaker.
Memorial services are pending. They will be held at a later time at the San Joaquin National Valley Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
The family has requested memorials to be sent to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice.
