Jose Leal was born in Mexico to Trinidad Leal and Ramona Salinas. Eighteen years later Jose came to the United States and became a U.S. citizen. Jose settled in Delhi in 1951.
He worked as a union representative and foreman at Foster Farms for over 33 years. Jose met and married Bertha Tamayo in 1982. He also enjoyed going to the casinos with his family.
He leaves behind his children, Karen Leal, Sharon Leal, Joey Leal, Tina Leal, Frank Leal, Norma O’Hanlon, Tony Leal and Michael Tilley; five sisters and two brothers; 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
