Juan Manuel Rodriguez was born in Matamorros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on May 17, 1938. He came to California in 1956 searching for better employment opportunities. He passed into the arms of the Lord at his home in Delhi on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011 at the age of 72.

Juan worked for 37 years for Snider Lumber Company, which later turned into Sierra Pacific Industries in Chinese Camp. He was admired, respected, and loved by all of those who knew him. He was known and cherished for his sense of humor, and always easy going and caring nature. Juan was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and great friend who will forever be cherished in our hearts. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Juanita Rodriguez; daughters, Blanca Alicia Zuno, Diana Berber, Sonia Rodriguez, Maricela Moreno, Lidia Delgado, Sandra Parra and Beatriz Rodriguez; 20 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12, with Rosary to follow from 6 p.m. to 7p.m., at Turlock Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, also at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
