Kirk James passed away after a short illness at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.  He grew up in Delhi, attended schools there and graduated from Livingston High School in 1976.  Kirk worked for Norcal Nursery and for the last 2 ½ years worked for Wendell Trinkler Jr.

The “Best Step-Dad Ever” to his four children, Kirk was deeply loved by his family.  His favorite pastime that he loved so much was to barbecue with his family.  Kirk also had a passion for playing the guitar, and he liked being outdoors hunting and fishing. 

Kirk is survived by his wife Lisa Ferrari-James; mother Marlys Stinson; children Christina Ferreira (George Sanders), Stephanie Ferreira-Johnson (James), Denice Daniels (Rick), Tristan Charles Rinaldo Ferreira (Laura); siblings Perry Stinson and Diane Roberts; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 on the way  and numerous nieces and nephews.  Kirk is preceded in death by his father Joseph James; step-father Burt Stinson and brother Kelly Stinson.
