A beloved Matriarch of our family has left us but her twinkling eyes and vibrant smile will remain in our hearts forever. Mary Valle was a life-long resident of Turlock. She was the youngest of 10 children and the last surviving child. Mary met and married Raul Valle while they were in high school. They were married 66 years and welcomed two daughters, Loretta and Jeannie. Mary and Raul were small business owners. Mary later worked for Lela’s Dress Shop where she loved helping young brides prepare for their weddings. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren hosting large family parties. She was an excellent cook and a fashion icon known for her hats and scarves. 

Mary was a joy to be with and a lot of fun. She loved to sing and dance. Her laughter was contagious. She was our mentor and our inspiration and will be dearly missed. 

Preceding her in death were her husband Raul Valle and their daughter Loretta Mirza. Survivors include her daughter Jeannie and her husband, Tony Lopes; son-in-law Ed Mirza; 7 grandchildren: Mark Mirza, Tami (Mirza) Baron, Michelle (Mirza) Hahn, Tanya (Mirza) Abrams, Nathan Mirza, Dana (Lopes) Daley, and Todd Lopes; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a public memorial service at Allen Mortuary on SUNDAY, July 27, at 11:00 am. A private family mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church.
