MaryAnn Hector-Sartin, 57, of Crows Landing was born in Turlock to Joseph and Elvira Garcia in 1952 and passed away in December 2009.
MaryAnn was raised in Turlock and lived in Crows Landing for 13 years. She worked for Campbell’s Soup for 14 years, Alamo’s Dairy and later was a caregiver. MaryAnn was a member of the Turlock Moose Lodge. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and gardening. Most of all, she loved all kinds of animals.
MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Richard Sartin; children, Denice Hector, Ellen Garcia, John Perry Jr., MaryAnn Perry, Marcus Tamayo and Mario Tamayo; mother, Elvira Garcia; siblings, Dennis Garcia and Diana Garcia; and eleven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Dec. 27 at Allen Mortuary. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial following at Winton Cemetery.
