Michael Leedom, 61, passed away on July 9 at home in the company of his loving wife, Barbara. Mike was a steadfast member of the Society of the Friends of Bill W. for 24 years. Mike found great joy in counseling people in recovery and spending time with his three beloved dogs. He graduated from Fresno State with a degree in criminology. He was a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Quantico, Va. He worked for the Fresno Police Department, was a volunteer fireman in Turlock, and was a sergeant of the Police Administration at the Stanislaus Campus of Fresno State.
Michael is survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, Roger; sister, Pat; son, Christopher; daughter, Allison; and step-children, Joe, Moira and Lisa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
We will always remember his love of teddy bears and his devotion to his wife, Barbara. He will be missed by many, but he will never be forgotten.
