Michael Joseph Lapineg, 62, of Turlock, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served. He was a cement mason for the Local Union #300 for 38 years and a member of Enclave Christian Church.

Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda D. Lapineg of Turlock; sons, Michael Lapineg Jr. of Livermore, and Joe Lewis and Zeb Lapineg of Turlock; daughters, Jeanette Lapineg of Modesto, Lore Lapineg of Modesto and Michelle Lapineg of Modesto; sister, Irene Edralin and her husband, Bobby, of Sacramento; and numerous family members. He had six grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 West Main St., Turlock.
