Nina, who went home to the Lord on Thursday, lived a very full 100 years. She was born in Adrian, Mich. and lived there until age 6.  Her family had moves to Corona, Whittier, Los Angeles and Inglewood, Calif.  After her marriage in the 1930s, they moved to Hollydale, Calif. Here she raised three children. She loved her family and was loved by them all. Her favorite times were birthdays and holidays, when she would prepare large meals and special deserts and birthday cakes. Everyone was her friend, as she was able to talk to everyone. She always had a positive outlook, even if life wasn’t so positive.
Her husband, Robert H. McCulla, passed away in 1972. She is survived by her three children, Nina M. VonDrak of Oregon, Clara J. Sabin of New Hampshire and Robert A. McCulla of Turlock.  She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock.  A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, also at Turlock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
