Phillip W. Sondeno 94 passed away peacefully on June 17, 2016 surrounded by his wife  and family at his home in Medford, Oregon. 

He is suvived by his wife Patty, and  his son Rex Sondeno of Harrisburg, Oregon and his daughter Gayle Wilson of Colorado Spring Colorado. six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother Joseph Sondeno of Las Vegas, Nevada and one sister Esther Brenda Sargis of Turlock and many nieces and nephews.

Philip was born in Minn. to John and Esther Sondeno, 5th of 10 children. on September 5, 1921.

He went through Turlock Elementary   and Turlock High School before joining  the United States Army serving  in England  during W.W.11.  He  spent three years of military service in Southampton, England.

After serving  in W,W, 11  he developed  a large business in San Jose as a General Contractor building many business and churches.  He was a very sucessful  man who always put God first.  Funeral services were held in Medford, Oregon on June 23 at the First Church of the Nazarene  

After leaving San Jose after over 40 years, he moved back to Turlock with his wife Patty and lived in Turlock about 10 years before moving  to Medford, Oregon until his death .

He will be missed by his family and many friends.  He was very active in his church all his adult life working  with 

“Light for the Lost” under the Assemblies of God.  He was truly a man of integrity and honesty.  We all miss him dearly.
