Ronald Jeffries, 62, of Gustine passed away on Dec. 4. He was born in Los Angeles to Thomas and Ruth Jeffries in 1948. Ronald served in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. He lived in Los Angeles until 1984, when he moved to the Central Valley. Ronald lived in Gustine for the last 15 years. He was a truck driver by trade.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Ruth Stowell of Downey; children, Sandy Walker of Rancho Cucamonga, Kelly Roe of Whittier and Katrina Noble of Yuma, Ariz.; siblings, Dan Jeffries of Whittier and Barbara Missen of Virginia; and five grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jeffries.

A committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, followed at 3 p.m. by a Celebration of Life service at Liberty Baptist Church in Gustine.
