Sherry Lee Wayman, 47, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center after a long battle with illness. She was a lifelong resident of this area since she was born in Modesto and lived her life in Stanislaus County. She went to Downey High School in Modesto and was married to George D. Henry for several years. Sherry loved music and loved to sing, she enjoyed casinos, and she loved to ride her Harley. Her family tells how she loved to go to church, too. She also did some commercial cleaning when her health allowed.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. She is survived by her life companion, William McDowell of Turlock; children, Anthony Dewayne Henry of Florida, Glen Robert Henry of Sacramento and Priscilla Jean Farias of Turlock; and brother, Delton Miller of Modesto.

A memorial service for Sherry will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Allen Mortuary.
