Steven John Volk passed away on December 27th, 2018 in a place he loved: Puerto Vallarta. He was with his family enjoying his grandchildren when fate intervened. Ironically he was celebrating life when he was interrupted by God and taken to his next life.

He was born on February 5th, 1952 in Turlock, Ca to Tony & Corinne Volk. He was the 4th of 6 children. He attended Turlock schools and Grossmont Jr. College in San Diego before returning to Turlock to work for the family business.

He will be remembered for his absolute love and dedication to his family; his love of travel; his quest to see the orange & pink sunsets at the beach; his irreverent sense of humor; and his garbled and impossible to decipher text messages. He was the best! He will be missed by us every single day.

He is survived by his wife Mary, sons: Brent (Lizzie), Drew (Ashleigh), Reid (Caitlin), grandchildren: Katie, Ellie, Olivia, Dominic, Cora, & Everly. Brothers: Tony Volk, Dan Volk, & Sister Cynthia Shannon. He was preceded in death by parents Tony & Corinne, sister Sharon Petersen, & brother Don Volk.
