Vernon Christian entered into rest in Turlock at the age of 90.  He was born in Turlock. He was a farmer for 60 years and also served in the Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Christian of Delhi; sister Ilene Askhwanden of Turlock and grandchild, Isabel Christian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Christian, March 31, 2006; son, Keith C. Christian in October 17, 2011; brothers Clarence Christian and Clifford Christian; sisters Elna Brittan and Jean Bero.
Visitation will be held from 2p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 6,  at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St. Turlock.
Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park
