Walter was born in Korea to Eugene and Mary Turnbow in 1961.
He was raised in Oakdale and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1979. After graduating high school, he worked as a mechanic and later as an electrician for Blake Electric in Modesto. Walter enjoyed motorcycles and dirt bikes.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Turnbow of Oakdale; daughter, Brittany Turnbow of Ceres; brother, Wayne Turnbow; and girlfriend, Georgia Webster.
