Yellow Cab Company would like to thank you, the community of Turlock and the surrounding area, for supporting our business.

Due to policy by the Turlock Police Department, it takes approximately two to six months to clear a new cab driver, whereas in other cities/towns the process of the background check and permit takes only one week or so.

We have had many people want to be a cab driver, but cannot be employed for months on end waiting to be approved.

In today’s time, with high unemployment and a bad economy, staying in business is difficult at best and to be dictated to by poor city policy is intolerable. Changes have to be made.

We have requested changes to our dilemma, but it has fallen upon deaf ears.

Please be patient with Yellow Cab Co. for we are trying to bring on board new drivers to provide better customer service.
