Sara Latham is coming back home to Turlock. Latham has accepted her admission to Cal State Stanislaus and will join the Warriors this fall on the pitch, according to head coach Gabriel Bolton.
Latham spent last season at Division I Houston as a redshirt in the Cougars' program.
The explosive forward played two seasons at Modesto Junior College before transferring to the University of Houston last spring. While at MJC she scored 40 goals and posted 10 assists. She was named Big 8 First Team both seasons, NSCAA All Region in 2010 and NSCAA All American 2nd Team in 2011.
"We are really excited to have Sara joining us from UH and MJC," said Bolton. "She is fantastic attacking player with great speed and finishing ability. There is no question she will make an impact and give us a triple edged sword in the attack."
Latham, who played her high school soccer for Turlock High School, joins an already potent attack that features three-time All American Karenee Demery and All California Collegiate Athletic Association selection Allie Dugan.
