Vicchio produces career performance in win

Lianne Vicchio had a career-high 28 kills as she led the Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday night.
The Warriors rallied after losing the first set to win 24-26, 25-17, 26-24, 25-18. Stanislaus improved to 8-7 overall and 4-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Vicchio, who had a career-best 23 kills last Saturday against Cal State Monterey Bay, took 53 attempts with just three errors to go with her totals — a .472 attacking percentage.
The senior captain also notched her 48th career double-double by leading the team with 15 digs.
Also contributed strongly to the offense was Eva Chafeh, who had 14 kills with a .480 attacking percentage. As a team, the Warriors turned in a .384 clip.
Setter Jessica Lehner had 52 assists — her third 50-assist match this season. Jennifer Marsh added eight kills and Janay Bankston chipped in seven to pace the Warriors.
