Warriors soccer moves up one spot in rankings

After a 1-0-1 weekend, the Cal State Stanislaus men's soccer team moved up a spot to No. 7 in the latest West Region Rankings released by the NSCAA.
The Warriors debuted at No. 8 last week and after an impressive win at San Francisco on Friday and a tie at Cal State Monterey Bay. The Warriors notched up a step in this week's poll.
Cal State Stanislaus will face two regional ranked teams this weekend at home with No. 6 CSU San Bernardino at 7 p.m. on Friday, and No. 4 Cal Poly Pomona at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Cal State Stanislaus was ranked No. 8 in the first regional poll last week. The Warriors are coming off two more wins over the weekend with a 2-1 overtime victory at San Francisco State and a 5-0 blasting of Cal State Monterey Bay.
The Warriors have started 4-0 for the second straight season and are also 2-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, their best conference start since 2005, the year they won the CCAA North.
