Varsity baseball in the area has always proven to be a strong sport, and this past spring wasn't any different.

 

Turlock, Pitman and Hilmar had a ton of individual standouts who really stepped and also clinched postseason berths.

 

Three of the six schools ended up making the postseason, however, Turlock Christian came within a game from earning a playoff spot.

 

Unfortunately, there wasn't a Cinderella story, but instead the Eagles of TC were booted in their final game of the year, but there were major upsides to the season including multiple consistent batters for first year head coach James Burbank.

 

There were 26 overall players who made the first and second team selections and every one of them elevated their level of play to become dynamic standouts for the year.

 

Denair had two underclassmen as honorable mentions in Blake Davis and JT Smith but none made the All-Journal selection.

 

It is only fair to now take a look at this powerful list that includes multiple future Division-I collegiate players:
