The Arrowhead Club sports camps will be held June 5-8, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Turlock High School, and participants will meet each day in the school's main gymnasium (on Berkeley Avenue).

The camps cover football, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, and tennis.

The camp is for students in fourth through eighth grades and cost is $100 per camper. Participants will receive a camp T-shirt. Local prep and college coaches, along with standout players, will be on hand to coach the sessions.

Parents can sign up their children at www.arrowheadclub.org or, if they have any questions, can email arrowheadclubtur@gmail.com.

This year marks the 55th anniversary of the Arrowhead Club, founded as the Stanislaus Warriors Booster Club. The club was chartered to provide moral and financial support to Stanislaus State's fledgling athletic program. In 1997 the Arrowhead Club withdrew from university athletics and expanded its scope to college, high school and youth sports in the greater Stanislaus area. Since December of 1997, the club has distributed more than $870,000 to youth athletics in the greater Stanislaus area and nearly $1.3 million since its inception.
