The weather is getting warmer and the youngsters are waiting anxiously for the end of the school year, which means that the plethora of youth sports camps are fast approaching.

 

Arrowhead Club

 

The annual Arrowhead Sports Camp is set to take place at Bulldog Arena on the campus of Turlock High School from June 3-6. Benefiting college, high school and youth sports in the Greater Stanislaus area, the camp will allow kids to participate in sports under the instruction of area high school and club coaches. Each day, the camp will run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a break from 10:30 to 10:45 before resuming till noon. Kids can change sports at the break or stay at the same sport. They can try a different sport each day if they’d like. Cost is $100 per participant. Since registration is limited to the first 150 campers, those interested are encouraged to sign up at www.ArrowheadClub.org.  

 

Turlock Sports Park

 

The Turlock Sports Park will be hosting a trio of camps. Running every Monday and Wednesday morning from June 3 through 26 will be the Summer Football Skills Camp for kids ages 12 to 17. Divided by age, participants will delve into fundamental football techniques, including offensive and defensive strategies, enhanced footwork, and speed training. The camp is suitable for both flag and tackle football. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 4 through 27 is the Lifting Fundamentals Summer Camp, where children ages 12 to 17 will learn to increase strength, power, body awareness and hypertrophy. Every Monday from July 15 to Aug. 19 will be the Keeper-Striker Camp for goalkeeper and striker development. There will be separate sessions for kids for kids ages 6 to 10 and those ages 11 through high school. The cost for each camp is $149, with registration open now at www.TurlockSportsPark.com

 

Hilmar High Girls Soccer

 

The defending Sac-Joaquin Section Division Division 5 girls soccer champions and NorCal Regional runner-up Hilmar High Yellowjackets will be welcoming kids to their soccer field this summer for the inaugural Lady Jackets Soccer Camp. The camp is open for boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade and will run June 24-26. The cost is $100, with the last day to register being June 14. Stanislaus State Athletics

 

The athletics department at California State University, Stanislaus has announced 19 youth camps and prospect sessions for the summer. The All-Sports Camp is June 3-6. The first Youth Basketball Summer Basketball Camp will also be June 3-6, while the second session will take place June 10-13 and the third June 17-20. The first Women's Soccer Youth Soccer Camp will be June 17-20, while another will be July 15-18. The volleyball program will have nine sessions, with the first youth camp July 8-9 and another July 12-13, a middle school camp July 10-11, high school camps July 12-13 and July 19-20, a prospect camp on July 22, and 6th and 12th grade clinics July 22-23 and from the 24-25. The Softball Summer Youth Camp 2024 will be June 19 

Tennis camp sessions will be June 10-13, June 17-20 and June 24-27. Prices for each camp vary. Those interested can register at www.warriorathleticscamps.com.
