Robbery suspect from Citibank

A lone suspect robbed a Turlock bank Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery was reported at 11:19 a.m. at the Citibank at 2000 Geer Road.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a teller with a note that demanded cash and inferred he had a weapon, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the bank. He was last seen getting into a silver sedan.

The suspect stands about 6 feet tall and has a medium build. The robber was wearing a black shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black baseball cap with an emblem on the front, and what appears to be a fake beard.

Early in the investigation a photo was released from the bank's surveillance cameras of the alleged suspect. As the investigation progressed and through tips, investigators learned that the person pictured in the photos is not the subject involved in the robbery.

New images from the surveillance cameras showing the suspect inside and outside the bank have now been released.

Anyone with information regarding this case or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective James Brewer at 209-664-7331.

The Turlock Police Department is an active participant in the Crime Stoppers Program. Callers can leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 521-4636 and may be eligible for a cash reward.
