Students in the Culinary Arts program at Pitman High School put their talents toward a worthy cause on Thursday, hosting a luncheon for eight veterans. A meal of barbecued hamburgers, beans, fruit and cupcakes was cooked up by the class for their special guests, which Pitman senior Alex Carr served to Army veteran Dr. Wes Jacobs. Also, guests at the luncheon were Campus Supervisor Rudy Estrada and teacher Anthony Moreno, who are both U.S. Marine Corps veterans.
Pride serves up tasty thank you
