City of Turlock Leaf Pickup Program
conservation corner image 2

The City of Turlock Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Department’s annual Leaf Pickup Program began on Nov. 2. Turlock residents are encouraged to use their green waste containers for leaves and garden refuse. However, any leaves that will not fit into the green cart may be placed in the street 18 inches from the curbside in loose piles, not bagged. Tree limbs should not be placed in the leaf piles and remember to not park vehicles in front of your residence. Doing so prevents access to leaf collection. Further, to allow for more flexibility within the collection schedule, it is preferred that vehicles are not parked in front of residences on the day prior to the scheduled collection day, on the actual collection day, or on the day after the scheduled collection day.

The City is divided into 10 collection zones and Fridays are designated make-up days. Leaves are collected according to the schedule until Feb. 5, 2016. Please remember to use your green waste containers first!

For questions or additional information, please contact the Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department at 209-668-5594 or visit the City website at www.cityofturlock.org/leafpickup.
