The Denair Fire Department was joined by neighboring fire departments in their efforts to put out a hay fire Monday afternoon in Denair.
The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of E. Taylor Road. The large hay stack burned for several hours before being fully extinguished. The cause of the fire is unknown.
The agencies providing assistance were: Turlock Rural, City of Turlock - Fire Department, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire, Keyes Fire, Hughson Fire, Burbank Paradise Fire, and Stanislaus Regional FIU.
