Community fun abounded Saturday as the city of Denair and California State University, Stanislaus both hosted family-friendly events.

CSU Stanislaus welcomed the community at large to the Turlock campus on Saturday for the annual Stanfest event, which included games like tug-of-war, sack races and a bean bag toss.

Just a few miles east on Monte Vista Avenue, thousands of community members flocked to the Denair Farm and Family Festival on Saturday.
