Craft lovers of Turlock have a reason to celebrate, as Hobby Lobby will soon be bringing its arts and crafts expertise to Monte Vista Crossings. In April, Street Level Investments applied for permits to construct a 55,000 square foot retail building at 3701 Countryside Dr., which is just north of Lowe’s Home Improvement and will be directly across from the developing Ten Pin Fun Center. Hobby Lobby is the largest privately owned arts and crafts retailer in the world, employing approximately 32,000 employees and operating more than 700 stores in 47 states.
