A new bus has rolled into town and found a temporary home in front of Turlock Stadium 14.  'Monster Kool Bus' is a 1956 school bus that has been transformed into a super-sized monster truck that stands 13 feet high and 22 feet long and weighs 19,000 pounds.

The bus is used for various charity events and will help raise money for The House Modesto. The Nineveh Outreach will receive 100 percent of all proceeds to help fund their food outreach and Hope Medi Van that offers dental care and assistance to the homeless and those in need.

The Kool Bus will start giving rides today at 4 p.m. in the Turlock Stadium 14 parking lot on West Main in Turlock.  Passengers will experience three laps around the lot that is sure to be fun. The bus is equipped with seat belts and offers rides to those who are 6 months and older.

The prices are as follows: $7 for children and $10 for adults.  Bus hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday,  and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
