The woman killed in a solo vehicle crash on Highway 99 in Delhi on July 16 has been identified by the Merced County Coroner’s Office as Carrie Tearney, 35, of Turlock.
The collision was reported to the CHP at 8:10 p.m. July 16 on Highway 99, south of Shanks Road in Delhi.
Tearney was driving a 2003 Nissan Altima northbound on the highway in the middle lane. For an unknown reason, she allowed the vehicle to drift into the other lane and then off the right shoulder.
