The Turlock Police and Fire departments will host the ninth annual open house event on Saturday.
The public safety event will feature demonstrations from the police department’s SWAT unit and suppression and extrication exercises from the fire department. There will also be a host of vendors representing allied agencies and other public safety minded institutions.
The annual event also will feature a free barbecue lunch, activities for children and tours of the Public Safety Facility.
The free event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Public Safety Facility at 244 N. Broadway.
