History of Business:  Numerous shops and restaurants have filled the once empty store fronts on Main Street in recent years, but Ritzy Ragz & Thingz has been a staple of downtown Turlock for nearly a decade.

Six years ago the store moved from the nearby Mercantile Building to its West Main Street storefront where business has been consistent. Offering a comfortable vibe that allow shoppers to escape from crowds at the mall, Ritzy Ragz boasts a diversified shopping selection with 14 vendors selling clothing, accessories, jewelry and more.

“It’s a great environment,” said Manager Nina Wittman. “We have it all under one roof and offer great customer service. People can spend hours in here.”

Ritzy Ragz owners Jennifer Horn and Sharon Stencil were recently honored by the Stanislaus Business Development Center as a standout women’s owned business, but this isn’t the first recognition the store has received. Ritzy Ragz was also featured in Christian Mingle, Corbin Bernson’s recently released film that was shot in Turlock.
