The Turlock Sunrise Rotary is looking to make the winter time a bit cozier for those less fortunate in the community as they are hosting a pair of clothing drives.

Earlier this week, the community service club put out fliers for their Winter Coat Drive and Jean Drive Donation. Both drives will be accepting donations through Dec. 13.

For the jean drive, the club will only be accepting lightly used jeans. Donations can be given to any Turlock Sunrise Rotary member. A member directory can be found at www.turlocksunriserotary.org/?p=showclubmembers. Donations can also be dropped off at Latif’s by Pedretti on 111 N. Golden State Blvd. during the club’s Wednesday meetings at 7 a.m. 

Similarly, winter coats will be collected at the Rotary’s Wednesday meetings. Coats can also be dropped off at both Carr’s Cleaners locations in Turlock, which are at 500 E. Main St. and at 2924 Geer Rd.
