History of business: America's Tire made Turlock its home in December 2005, offering low-priced tires and wheels and quality service.

The company, which has 850 stores nationwide, was founded by Bruce T. Halle, who fueled by his love for tires, rented a small building in Ann Arbor, Mich. The store consisted of a total of six tires, four of which were retreads. Despite the sparse inventory, Halle used his tenacity and excellent customer service to grow his business into one of the most  recognizable names in the tire industry today.

The company's decision to come to Turlock was prompted by a potential need for quality tire service for the community's residents.

“We saw that there was a good niche here,” said Turlock store manager Josh Dodson.

According to Dodson, the store serves around 80-100 customers a day, many of whom are repeat customers.

“We’re just people doing business with people,” said Dodson.

The store has also received praises from the Turlock community as well. Christa B., a reviewer on Yelp.com, stated that the staff at America's Tire works with a sense of integrity that keeps customers coming back.

"Their customer service is A+ and their prices are great,” said Christa. “They believe in earning your business and will never charge you to patch up a tire even if you have never been a customer there."

Business specialty: America’s Tire specializes in flat repairs, tire rotations, balancing and vibration issues.  The store also offers a wide selection of tires for a variety of vehicles, along with tire and wheel packages.
