TURLOCK LIONS GIVE BACK
Lions Club 1
The Turlock Lions Club poses for a photo in front of the new flagpoles they donated to the baseball field at Turlock High School.

New flagpoles are gracing the outfield of Mark de la Motte Field at Turlock High school thanks to a donation from the Turlock Lions Club. Waving in the breeze are flags of the United States, California, and the school’s “Block T” logo. On June 18, Lions members posed for photos with the flagpoles, and then took a trip across town to revisit their 2023 scoreboard donation at Pitman High School.

“It is really an honor to be able to serve the community and give back to numerous organizations and individuals, including many youth programs in the area, as we hope to provide a strong platform for the future of Turlock,” said Turlock Lions President Paul Baker.

The organization’s service efforts will continue through the summer by continuing to manage parking services at the Fruit Yard in Modesto and the next month with the annual Destruction Derby at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock.
