Alma Louise Elliott, 88, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Alma was born in Dryer, Arkansas to Benjamin and Lessie Blanchard. She lived most of her life in the Delhi area. She worked several years as a Nursing Assistant and later worked on the line of Valley Fresh in Turlock. Alma was a woman of faith and love. She taught her own children and she taught Sunday School at the United Pentecostal Church in Delhi. Her children were her world. She was loved by all who knew her. 

  Alma was preceded in death by her parents and by her first husband Rethel Parks in 1982, her second husband Doyl “Doc” Elliott in 2006, two sisters Margaret Legate and Mary Clonts, daughter Willa Mae Woody, grandsons Russell Newton and Michael Armstrong, and a great-grandson Christopher Formby. She is survived by two daughters Margie (Floyd) Armstrong of Oregon and Roberta Jean (Euberto Sr.) Newton of Waterford, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 20 great, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. 

  Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, June 19th from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral Service will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, June 20th at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
