Earl Cooper, 90, passed away June 29, 2011 at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Turlock. He was born May 29, 1921, in Hillsboro, Ore. to the late Leslie and Elizabeth Cooper. He was raised
in Bellflower, Calif. He received his bachelor’s degree from Biola College (Bible Institute of Los Angeles). He worked for a Christian school in Southern California and Bellflower Baptist Church for 35 years, and then retired from Bellflower Baptist Church. He settled in Turlock 15 years ago and was a member of Monte Vista Chapel. During WW II he enlisted in the California Conservation Corps.
He is survived by his three sisters, Kathleen Loftin of Denair, Carol Todd of Riverside and Eleanor Dickerson of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Anderson.
Interment will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif. at a later date.
