Frank Rose

Frank Rose was born July 26, 1934, in East Boston, MA. 

At the age of two he moved to New Bedford, MA where he lived until he finished high school. 

He then enlisted in the Air Force and began his basic training in Upstate New York. 

After 4 years in the Air Force, he relocated to San Francisco with his new wife, Joanne, who he met while being stationed at Hamilton Air Force near San Rafael. 

He went to work at California Motor Express as a teletype operator and began to take courses at San Francisco City College. 

In 1961, he relocated to San Jose, California and embarked on a new career in sales with Standard Register Company which he held for twelve years. In 1976, he left Standard Register and joined a Business Forms Distributorship in Santa Clara, California.

In December of 1977 he started his own Business Forms Distributorship in Mountain View, California which he had until his retirement in 2014.

During his life he was active in many organizations, Exalter Ruler of the Santa Clara Elks, President of the Rotary Club of Mountain View, CA, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mountain View, CA, and other organizations in the Bay Area and Turlock, CA. 

He received his college degree from the University of San Francisco in 1981 in Language Arts and Teaching. 

He remarried in 1989 to Jan.

He had four sons, Frank Rose of San Jose, CA, Ronald Rose of Coeur d Alene, Idaho (deceased), Michael (Wendy) Rose of Discovery Bay, CA, and Mark (Liza) Rose of San Jose, CA, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He loved meeting new people and playing pool with friends.
