George Lanny Dutter passed away suddenly at the age of 50 at his residence in Prescott, Ariz. A memorial service for George and his brother, Richard Dunn Jr., will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the V.F.W. Hall on 1405 E. Linwood Ave., Turlock.
George was born in Los Angeles. He settled in Turlock in 1972, and attended Turlock schools. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1975, and served four years. He settled in Prescott, Ariz. 10 years ago and worked for the Prescott VA Hospital as an occupational therapist. He was a song writer and enjoyed art, painting, and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Susan Dunn of Turlock; sister, Rebecca Brunelle of Denair; brother, Bruce Dutter of Turlock; and nephew, Taylor Brunelle.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Dunn Jr.; and his nephew, Randy Rabelos.
