Janette was born on June 29, 1951, to Lloyd and Darlene Castles in Baker, Ore. She passed away on April 9, 2010, in French Camp, Calif. at the young age of 58 years old. She was a graduate of Denair High School. Janette was a housewife and married to her best friend, Gerald, for 33 years. She was a very active member of the Church of Christ. Janette deeply loved her family and enjoyed holidays and camping trips together. The greatest joy in our lives, that we will miss dearly, is her ritual yearly birthday calls to each member of the family just to sing “Happy Birthday” to us.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; brothers, Lloyd (Patti) Castles of Denair and Steve Castles of Stockton; sisters, Christine Reich of West Point and Doreen Castles of Stockton; and several nieces and nephews.  
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on April 23 at the Church of Christ, 3880 E. Fremont St., in Stockton.
