Jose Raul Hinojosa, 85, of Turlock passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015. He was born on February 7, 1930 in Banquete, Texas. He married Evangelina G. Hinojosa in January of 1957 in Parás, Nuevo León, Mexico and soon after settled in Turlock, California where they raised four children and remained residents for 58 years. Jose and Evangelina enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with their family; most of which are still residents of Turlock.

Jose is survived by his sons, Jose R. Hinojosa, Jr. (Dana), Hugo Hinojosa (Bernadette), daughter, Rosa Nelly Ishoo (Edmond), grandchildren, Lindsey and Brandon McMillan, Michael, Jennifer, Devan and Haley Hinojosa, step-grandchildren, Robin Taghizadeh, Joshua and Caitlin Ishoo. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. He is preceded in death by a son, Gerardo Hinojosa in May of 2014 and his wife, Evangelina G. Hinojosa in April of 2015.

A memorial service and committal will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Funeral Home.
